KOMO opened on 10 November 2025, behind Rajpath Club, from the team who had already spent years roasting coffee a few kilometres away at Kaffa Coffee Roasters on IIM Road, Ahmedabad.

The room came first. Columns branch overhead into a vaulted ceiling and settle into arches; the plaster is shaped by hand rather than poured flat; the light is hidden in the structure so it appears to come from the walls themselves. Nothing in it is square. It takes a moment to work out what the building is doing, which is rather the point.

The menu follows the same idea. A benne dosa made properly sits beside a wood-fired pizza and a matcha, because the room was never meant to be visited for one occasion. Breakfast runs into afternoon, and nobody rushes the table.
